Colton Sweeney · Full Stack Engineer

I build fast, reliable web products businesses can grow on.

I help businesses turn ideas into web apps and sites that load fast, work everywhere, and are built to last — shipped with the polish your customers notice and the quality your team can maintain.

BUILD
Production web & mobile apps and marketing sites that ship in timelines as low as a week
PERF
Fast by default — Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and SEO
SYSTEMS
Design systems and component libraries teams can build on. Material, Tailwind, native - you name it

Why work with me

Work that pays for itself — in speed, conversions, and code you can build on.

POINT 01

Results you can measure

I optimize for the numbers your business runs on — page speed, conversion, and search visibility — not just how the site looks in a demo.

POINT 02

One dependable point of contact

You work directly with the person doing the work. Clear updates, honest timelines, and no handoffs that lose the details along the way.

POINT 03

Code your team can keep

I write typed, well-structured, documented code, so the site stays easy to change long after launch — whether I maintain it or your team does.

Personal projectAI Research Infrastructure

ai.coltoncs.com

Most AI features on this site call a hosted API. ai.coltoncs.com is the opposite: a gated LLM and image-generation platform running entirely on a home PC I own and administer — two models served concurrently on a single RTX 3090, a chat interface, a ComfyUI image pipeline, and a Cloudflare Tunnel and Access policy that make it reachable from anywhere without opening a port.

Personal projectCivic Data Platform

Open Raleigh

Raleigh's historic places were spread across separate preservation, National Register, and historic district datasets with no single public view. Open Raleigh is a map-first community archive of roughly 9,000 sites — including over 1,000 already demolished — with search, faceted filters, a moderated contribution workflow, and all of it republished under CC BY 4.0 through a documented public API.
